The 23rd Annual Bike Trek for Life and Breath is scheduled for June 18-20. Proceeds benefit the American Lung Association of Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties (ALASBVC). The Bike Trek will take place in the Santa Ynez Valley and cover both flat terrain and rolling hills past regionally famous wineries and ranches.   

Sign up for the 1 day ride on Sat. June 19 or ride all 3 days, Fri-Sun, June 18-20. Pedal at your own pace. Support stops every 10 miles. Fantastic food and music and a wonderful group of volunteers will guarantee a great weekend "get away."

This is a go-at-your-own pace ride for cyclists of all levels of experience. Riders will have the choice of a one-day ride on Saturday, June 19 or a three-day ride, Friday through Sunday, June 18-20.

Rest and food stops will be set up every 10 miles along the route with roving support vehicles to help you along. And each day the rider has a choice of a 30 or 50-mile route.  During the weekend, entertainment will be provided. 

The one-day ride will begin and end at Midland School in Los Olivos.  The three-day ride will begin and end in Solvang, with two nights of camping at Midland School.  The ALASBVC will transport all camping gear to the campsite for three day riders. 

Teams made up of family members, friends or co-workers will ride on Saturday, June 19. A team award will be presented at our evening festivities to the team with the highest average in pledges and to the team with the most creative outfit.

Participants will be required to collect pledges prior to the ride to help support the ALASBVC's local lung health programs (Check out About Us for details of the programs). A special fund raising discount applies to children, 14 and under.  Each rider turining in their pledge minimum by one week prior to the ride will receive a Bike Trek T-shirt and water bottle. Additional prizes will also be awarded.
