Team Nathan

Nathan Michael Zook is my 5 year old son who loves gymnastics, swimming, playing Spider Man, writing stories, riding the school bus and going to Mitchellville Elementary school.
Nathan is a tough cookie, but Nathan has asthma and at times he struggles to breathe. When the wheezing starts, he sometimes says "mommy, what's happening to me?" It just breaks my heart.
I have been honored to be selected as the Family Chairperson for the Lung Walk this year at Blank Park Zoo on October 3rd at 9 a.m. so, I formed Team Nathan. Nathan likes to say, "every walker or pledge is like a prayer to make him better."
I think he is right. In fact, I think each walker or pledge is like a prayer for all people who struggle at times to breathe.
