Welcome to my personal web page for the American Lung Association's Trek Across Maine. I have decided to participate in this worthy cause again because it will not only be a fun and challenging event, but also because it will help raise funds for lung health education and research.
This will be my third year on the Trek. I survived the extremely wet ride last year. Obviously it didn't keep me away from doing it again. It is an important cause, a good personal challenge, and a great personal reward to participate in the Trek. I have riden in memory of my father who died of COPD but I will also ride this year in memory of my wife Shelly's uncle who also died this past year of COPD. There are also other friends and relatives that continue to suffer from lung related illnesses that ALAME hopes to reduce with its efforts supported by Trek funds.
As I look forward to another long ride with hopefully good weather I ask you to please help me to reach my fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible contribution in support of my participation. My fundraising minimum to participate is $500. Any donation you make toward this goal will be much appreciated.
