Again this year I am joining my friends of Walter's Wheelers to raise money for the American Lung Association. This is an organization close to my heart.
My dear sister died almost three years ago from lung disease. She supported me on my first ride, and died just days before it started.
I am a nurse and work with many people suffering from lung disease, due to smoking, second hand smoke and pollution.
Also, I am a former smoker and I am grateful that I have not relapsed. I am healthier and happier as an ex smoker.
Please pledge to support the American Lung Association and the tremendous work they do. We can make a real difference.
